welcome back

School for in-person students will begin tomorrow. Drop-off time will be 7:45pm.  Please follow drop off procedures.  Remain on the right hand side and drive to the front of the building next to the fire lane. Teachers will assist students out of the vehicle. Students MUST exit from the right side of the vehicle. DO NOT pass other cars while they are unloading. Be patient and follow the traffic pattern.

Please remember that due to COVID, you will not be allowed to walk your child into the building. We hope you will be very understanding about this as we are trying to keep all of our students, faculty, and staff healthy.  Make sure your child has a mask. Masks are required in the building.

Kid's Corral will open at 6:30am for students who have filled out an application and paid fees. Please enter at the Kid's Corral doors to sign in your child. Kid's Corral will be open after school for those same students until 6:00pm.

We are looking forward to our students coming back tomorrow.
We have surely missed them!

LEAPs for Roan Creek Elementary will begin tomorrow.  Students who have completed the registration form may come to the school at 7:00am. Parents must walk them to the Kid's Corral doors and sign them in. This is a requirement for the program.  If your child stays after school for LEAPs, they must be picked up by 5:15pm at the Kid's Corral awning.  If you arrive prior to 5:15, you will have to ring the bell for Kid's Corral and they will call for your child and you will sign them out that way.  If you want to stay in your car, we will begin walking students to the cars lined up at the fire lane at 5:15pm in the order you are parked. Please do not pass other cars and never pass a car when we are loading a child.  You will sign your child out on a clipboard (bring your own pen).

Updates to the Johnson County Schools Call Out System School Messenger Image

Johnson County Schools have been using software for several years to communicate with its parents, staff and students about local events, school schedule changes and general school related information. There have been some major updates to the software over the past couple of months that have not allowed our e-mail communication to go out alongside our voice messages. This has created some confusion and has limited effective communication between the schools and parents. With assistance and guidance from our software team at School Messenger, we have a solution in place that will allow everyone to continue receiving calls via voice and e-mail.
